Day 116 – We have arrived in Vancouver!!

We have arrived in Vancouver at last. We are staying with Nancy and Alastair’s place for the next week as we get ready for our journey to San Diego. We are reading our “Bicycling the Pacific Coast” book which we had sent to Vancouver from PEI. It is really nice to finally have a guide book to aid us in our trip. It has a recommended route, what to expect in terms of road conditions, and also recommended campgrounds and scenic stops! And finally we will be cycling the same direction as everyone else!

Updates on our last week of cycling to be posted shortly!

  3. Mazel Tov, Adam & Katherine! You both deserve a lifetime achievement award already.
And you made it just in time for turkey and pie. (I know that was always part of the plan…)

  4. Amazing! Check out the State campgrounds in Washington and Oregon – they were fabulous (and that is coming from someone who doesn’t place camping in her top 10 list of things she likes to do!). We stopped at many of the light houses along the Oregon coast – the little hikes and views they offer are breathtaking! And the Redwoods were awesome! Enjoy the rest of you adventure!

  6. Congrats Katherine and Adam! A fine achievement! I’ve followed your blog since we met in Little Current, ON. I finished my X-Canada on Sep 5th. I’ve been back home about a month now and I’m very bored… Enjoy your trip down the Pacific Coast. Tailwinds and good weather etc…
