We decided to take today off after our long stressful day into Winnipeg yesterday. We are staying at the Holiday Inn to recuperate after so many days and nights spent outside. Most importantly, the winds today are right now 33km/h from the west gusting to 46km/h, and later today it is supposed to change to 40km/h gusting to 60km/h!! Thank goodness we are not biking as it would not make any sense with such a ridiculous headwind (imagine if it was a tail wind!). It is supposed to calm down to 10km/h from the NW tomorrow and sunny weather for the rest of the week.
We are going to do some sightseeing of Winnipeg today. We were quite impressed with the parks and the scenery as we were riding in last night (but we were too tired and it was too late to stop and enjoy). We will update later with some pictures!
