Day 43 – Kincardine to Port Elgin, ON

We left Shane’s place (Thanks Shane for the great hospitality!!) for a quick 50km trip to Port Elgin. We had a tail wind and the roads were flat and the traffic was very light along the shore road. In Port Elgin we met up with the guys that I used to work with for some drinks and dinner. We had a great time and were glad so many could make it out to see us. It means a lot to us to see familiar faces, it is what we always look forward to. Special thanks to Phil for the drinks and Jerry for the dinner!

Later in the evening we met up with Karen and Eric at their house. We had a great time chatting even though both had to get up early in the morning. Thanks for putting us up Karen and Eric!
